We invite you to join us as a sponsor of the 2022 Jewish Leadership Conference—Tikvah’s annual gathering for Jews and Zionists devoted to the moral inheritance of the Jewish people, the freedom and prosperity of the state of Israel, and the civic health and cultural renewal of America and the West. We look forward to coming together once again to articulate a clear vision and bold strategy for the Jewish people and to confer our highest honor—the Herzl Prize—on our former chairman of nearly two decades, Roger Hertog.

Why did Roger devote 20 years of his life to Tikvah? Because he believed that Tikvah could educate the rising generation of Jewish and Zionist leaders in the ideals that matter most.

That was Roger’s mission; this is Tikvah’s purpose. And over the past few years, Tikvah has grown from hundreds of students to thousands, from thousands of readers to hundreds of thousands. As we grow, we need your help.

We created the Herzl Prize to spotlight—especially for young Jews—true models of Jewish excellence. Mr. Hertog embodies everything we cherish: a passionate commitment to Judaism and the Jewish people, a fierce devotion to Israel, a patriotic love of America, and the spirit of a Jewish leader. It is our great honor to honor him.

Roger Hertog is president of the Hertog Foundation. One of the founding partners of the investment research and management firm Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., which he joined in 1968, Mr. Hertog served as the firm’s president before its merger with Alliance Capital Management in 2000. In 2006, he retired from the successor company, AllianceBernstein, and is currently its vice-chairman emeritus. In addition to his leadership at Tikvah, Mr. Hertog served as chairman of the New York Historical Society and The Manhattan Institute and served on the boards of the American Enterprise Institute, the New York Philharmonic, the New York Public Library, the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, and the Washington Institute for Near-East Policy.

By supporting the Jewish Leadership Conference with a tax-deductible sponsorship, you will honor Roger Hertog’s leadership and legacy. You will help provide the crucial philanthropic support we need to advance our shared Jewish, Zionist, and American ideals. You will help create a generation of Jews—the Tikvah generation—with the moral and intellectual courage we need today more than ever.

For more information on Tikvah’s work, we invite you to view our 2022 Impact Report.

We hope you will consider joining us with a generous sponsorship of the Jewish Leadership Conference.
